Got a question, found a bug, or just want to say hi? I'd love to hear from you.
Yes! Scalita is free to use with all 21 built-in scales, all 15 built-in routines, and all playback features. All four Accuracy Training modes, the pitch score and the Scale Detector are free too, microphone and all. You can keep 1 custom scale, 1 custom routine and 1 saved harmony for free. Pro ($4.99 one-time) lifts those caps and unlocks the practice recorder in pitch targeting.
Absolutely. Scalita is designed to work completely offline. The piano sounds are bundled with the app, so you can practice anywhere without internet.
There is nothing to tap. Every time Scalita opens, it checks your purchase with Google Play and turns Pro back on by itself. Make sure you're signed into the same Google account you used for the original purchase, and open the app once while you're online.
Not yet, but it's on the roadmap! Follow us for updates on when the iOS version will be available.
Practice takes and saved harmonies are kept, on your phone, so you can listen back to them later. Nothing is uploaded anywhere. Range detection, the pitch monitor and the Scale Detector do not keep any audio at all. You can delete a take or a harmony from inside the app at any time.
Make sure you've granted microphone permission in your device settings. Sing in a quiet environment and hold each note steady for a couple of seconds. You can always set your range manually if detection doesn't work for you.
